FDR&M-Local Band Profile
May 17, 2007
Scott E. Farmer, Pete Devlin, Adam Reese and Joel Morelli began playing Wednesday nights at Jazzmyn’s Bar in Owen Sound in early 2006. By the summer we were well established playing in various bars in Owen Sound. In August, we recorded a live album in two nights, just after Summerfolk with Scott on the keys, Pete on lead guitar, Joel swinging from bass to mandolin and Adam taking lead vocals and rhythm guitar. The original songs were written by Adam. The rest were tenderly rendered covers of Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, Neil Young and Leonard Cohen. The album was recorded and produced by Scott E Farmer with two microphones and Ableton Live and conveys just how much we all love playing together. Copies of the FDR&M cd, The Clearview Sessions can be purchased by contacting adam[@] theOwen.com
Shortly after recording, FDR&M parted ways, but like every other time we’ve played together, it won’t be the last. We are available for gigs this summer, though getting all four of us together is a little more difficult and requires some advanced scheduling. Adam and Joel are both going to be Owen Sound residents for the summer and are always looking for ways to get payed to do what we love doing.

Adam, I can’t get your choruses out of my head this afternoon– they’re great! and a real nice slice of home for me on theOwen as I sip tea and eat apfel strudel in Germany, preparing to mobe to France. I’d even forgotten all about Victoria Day until I tuned in. Cheers.
