		<description>Bill was indeed a remarkable man-- I used to run into him regularly on the old train tracks just north of the city on winter mornings.  Whether we crossed paths, or if he was overtaking me in the same direction, he&#039;d always stop for a quick chat.  This is truly a great loss, but the inspiration he provided to the city and the region will doubtless continue in his absence.

I think it&#039;s great what you guys have created here with theOwen.com; working abroad it keeps me current on what is happening at home, and makes me long to be back there.</description>
