The Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular begins tomorrow (Friday August 24th) and as we have made perfectly clear on the site, we know nothing about derbies or fishing in general. We do know the internet however, so we can point you in the direction of some valuable online resources. The most comprehensive resource for Salmon Spectacular details is to be found through the Sydenham Sportsmen’s Association website. By following this link you will find all the information you need regarding costs to enter, prizes offered, and a schedule of the many events happening between August 24th and September 2nd.     The Salmon Spectacular is always a great event even if you don’t fish – lots of entertainment and don’t miss the fish fry’s – Saturday’s fish fry was awesome – will try to make it to the next one as well this year.

    Hi there, The salmon spectacular is a wonderful place for friends and familys, It gives you lots to do and its very exciting.
    me and my Father have been going to this for about 19 years now?
    and 2 years ago we won, it was probably the most exciting thing in my life and his just to think all the work he has done to try to win in those 19 years have payed off. Its a great way to end off our summer break and to get ready for school!
