    Get a Nokia, e- or n- series. Unlike in urinals, whatever you do, avoid the RIM.

    Unfortunately, if you’re on Rogers, they won’t give you much choice, but still go for the Nokia, it’s enviro-friendlier (way more so than the iToxic iPhone) and good solid construction with good solid open-standards software. I’m told Palm makes a good pda/phone too, but I’m not the sort who likes to be seen in public holding a cheese sandwich to my face ;)

    as for which one blends best, you’d have to check that Blather link above …

    I have had my eye on the Nokia n800 for a while now but it lacks the phone component. It is used by the individual who is much of the inspiration for my interest in mobile “blogging” and what not. The Nokie e-61 is also a contender on my list perhaps as is the UTC 6800. If anyone else out here has a suggestion or wishes to share an experience with their feature packed mobile device please leave a comment or use the contact form to get a hold of me
