Rescue Helicopter Lands at West Hill…
November 14, 2007
First off I really need to get my hands on a more portable digital camera.
So we just watched (around 4:30 or so) a rescue helicopter land on the soccer field at West Hill. It hung out briefly, someone got out and then jumped into one of the two local police cars parked on the field.
Shortly after that a couple of OPP vehicles sped by us, lights and all, along 9th street by a large crowd of onlookers. Then the helicopter took off and the police left.
That’s it. Sort of a vague story I admit (more exciting for the three year old I imagine). If I had a radio in the office I might know more by now.
Anyone out there have any more details? If so add a comment below.

holy moly! Well, I saw a thing advertised the other day on Amazon that is like an ipod with a USB-plug on the side and apparently takes an hour of instantly web-ready video.
but as to the why of this scene, I think it is far more fun to speculate
