Market to Market talk at the Library

Looking for something to do this afternoon? Join Tom Pink and friends at the Owen Sound Public Library for a Market to Market talk. The vendors and patrons of the Owen Sound Farmers Market have recently made a “market to market” donation to the Market Vendors AIDS Project (MAVAP) in in Uganda. Rosemary, a representative of MAVAP is in Owen Sound today. After spending the morning at the market there will be a public talk this afternoon in the library auditorium at 2:00 p.m.

Wiarton Willie Ebay Auction is Over

January 19, 2008

The final total is in. A chance to hang out on stage with Wiarton Willie this February 2 (plus accommodations and dinner) has been auctioned off on Ebay for C $1,712.00. Haven’t seen a summary story yet in other media. We’ll have to wait until Groundhog day perhaps to see who the lucky auction winner is.
