Festival of Northern Lights

Come out and see Owen Sound’s Festival of Northern Lights during this holiday season. This wonderful spectacle over 350 lighted displays can be seen along the Sydenham River in downtown Owen Sound and Harrison Park from 5pm to 11pm daily. Don’t miss the Opening ceremonies of the Festival of Northern Lights, on Friday November 14th at 6pm!
- 6:00 p.m. – Owen Sound City Band
- 6:20 p.m. – Klash the Klown entertains
- 6:45 p.m. – Fireworks
- 6:55 p.m. – Thank yous and count down
- 7:00 p.m. – Lights are switched on
- 7:15 p.m. – Horse-drawn sleigh rides around the lights
Other special events that will be taking place over the next seven weeks include:
- Festival Coffee House featuring local musical talent each Saturday night, 7:00 pm at the Market Building, free admission
- “A Holiday Celebration” Dinner Gala with Rick Kish and Natalie Howard-Grant, Nov. 29th, Bayshore Community Centre. (Reservations are now being taken at 519-376-8474).
- Colouring Contest for children
