r we looking 4 u?
Find It Grey Bruce.com is currently on the lookout for community organizers throughout Grey and Bruce.

Find It Grey Bruce.com is a directory of all things local. We’d like to provide more information about the news and goings-on of the various communities and perhaps ‘little-known’ hot-spots throughout our dynamic region.

Are you…
community minded, in-the-know-, outgoing and perhaps seeking local fame & fortune?*

If you answered yes and have access to the Internet, a telephone and have a moderate tolerance for technology, we’d like to hear from you!

So, it’s a win, win deal… you let more folks know about your event and they’ll show up! You get more bucks into your local economy (and your own pocket!!) plus you have more people getting out and having fun! Oh ya, don’t forget, you’re out getting the scoop and having fun while you’re at it! News is always better reported from a personal perspective. Wouldn’t you rather the neighbours hear it from you instead of some joe who can’t pronounce the name of your community? Of course you would, that’s why you should check us out and give us a call.

*Fortune not guaranteed but our goal is to put some $ in your pocket! Fame not guaranteed either… but chances are if you’ve called us, you’ve got the right stuff!

What to do New Year’s…

December 24, 2008

Hello Grey Bruce, it’s time to think about what’s going on to celebrate the new year! We have too many choices to list around our great area, so here are just a few to get your New Year’s plans started…

Rock the Coliseum! – A New Year’s Eve Event Just For Teens. There’s skating, dancing, a guitar hero battle, food, prizes… so much fun!!

Family New Year’s Eve Celebration! The entire family can celebrate at this family-oriented, alcohol-free extravaganza at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. It starts at 6:00 p.m. and continues until 9:00 p.m. Lots of great stuff going on there including skating, crafts, prizes and loads of fun!!

Moving on to the smaller venues for the 19+ crowd…

Jazzmyn’s has Adam Reese & Joel Morelli, two great local entertainers singing and entertaining us into the New Year.

Down the street a little further at the Chaise Lounge, we will be dancing the night away with The Big Love.

These are just a small taste of the entertainment and fun available in our region…
Have a great time, no matter where you decide to celebrate and ring in the 2009!!
Remember, please don’t drink & drive!!

From all of us here at The Owen, we wish you a healthy, happy New Year!
