Are we ever really prepared for Winter Driving?

We live in a winter wonderland, no doubt about it. Although we live and breathe snow here in Grey Bruce it doesn’t mean we’re ready for those winter roads…
As we mentioned in a previous article, there are many places to find out what the weather is doing and what the road conditions are like.
Constable Drew Wilder of the Grey County O.P.P. has a great website that gives you all kinds of safety tips and emergency procedures to follow.
Think the snowplows drive way too slow? Think again. They drive the way they do to not only keep themselves safe, but to keep us safe as well.
So, to keep yourself and others safe… Stay in if it’s stormy and if you can’t… slow down and drive safe. Be careful out there and remember… never drink and drive.
