City Hall Art Crawl

If you are keen on supporting artists in the Owen Sound Visual Arts Community ..You may want to drop by any Saturday morning to take in The Owen Sound City Hall Art Crawl.

Where: Owen Sound in the walkway between City Hall and Community Living (near 2nd Avenue and 8th street – heart of downtown … This is a beautiful cobbled brick site and used by shoppers to travel back and forth from Farmer’s Market Saturday Mornings.

When: From the Victoria Day weekend until end of summer – every Saturday starting at 8:am- 12pm (or so..) weather permitting – this is an outdoor event.

Why: because a few local artists believe Owen Sound is still a Cultural Capital of Canada and being visible and accessible is vibrant and important to the art scene

This is also an incredible opportunity for local artists to show/sell their art in a vibrant setting free of charge (for now!) and without jurying process.The only criteria is that your art is totally hand made by you -and that you bring your own set-up /display.
We also hope to encourage youth and emerging artists to participate! It’s a chance to network with other artists and receive feedback about your art too!Let’s Bring ART to the streets of Owen Sound this summer.
