City Hall Art Crawl
August 18, 2009
Have you been to The Art Crawl yet this summer? Time’s running short with only 3 Saturday mornings left to go. Whether you’re an artisan or simply want to shop and take in the creative expertise of local artists, this is a great spot to visit on Saturday mornings.
Owen Sound’s open air art market. Every Saturday morning in the Percy England Parkette … right beside City Hall.
The Art Crawl is running for the next 3 Saturdays until Labour Day. It runs from 8am to generally noon. Weather permitting. Some people do have tents and are more all weather vendors.
Want to be a vendor? All work must be original, handcrafted work by you.
This year there is no advanced registration or cost. You just come, and set up on the day.
You must supply your own stands/tables/display.

Back to Back Windsor Weekends…
June 30, 2009

Then… Friday, July 10, 2009 marks the Pat Robitaille House Concert at 925 2nd Ave. West, Owen Sound. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Concert starts at 8:00 p.m. For more info call 519-371-7611 and ask for Jade or Ryan or email concerts@theowen.comPat was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, the city of roses and the automotive capitol of Canada. His brand of music doesn’t quite showcase the sound of Motown Detroit, but it’s got the soul and spirit to measure up. He doesn’t tour with a band or record with one. He prefers to keep the decisions and performances up to himself, and he’s still able to paint a landscape with a song as if a hundred people had given their advice.
Windor seems to be pumping out some major talent… We’re very lucky to have such great performers two weekends in a row… right here in Downtown Owen Sound.
