May Jelly is this Wednesday

Hey all you local entrepreneurs this Wednesday, May 27th is Jelly. Yes, it’s that time of the month again, where all you folks who work at home or by yourself can come to our office and work with us for the day. All you have to do is bring your computer (WiFi is available) or whatever it is you need to get some work done.

Take a look back at some posts that explain what Jelly is all about.

We have lots of space… stay for a couple hours or stay for the day… we’re here 9 to 5ish.

It’s easy to find us, 925 2nd Ave.West, Owen Sound (directly across the road from the Owen Sound Police Services).

jelly This is a reminder to all that the next instalment of Jelly is taking place Wednesday, April 29th. For those of you who are not yet familiar with the Jelly concept it goes a little like this… (for the record you can read a lot more about it in our earlier post here)

Jelly is a day of casual co-working for the self employed, entrepreneurial set. Actually you are more than welcome to come along if you happened to be an employee with an enlightened boss that sees the value in networking and knowledge exchange! Go ahead and ask… it can’t hurt now can it?

So come on out and work with us for the day… or for a couple hours. You’ll have a chance to bounce some ideas off of others, have a laugh or two and enjoy being a part of Jelly.

If you can make it, it would be great to see you. Be sure to pass the link/details on to anyone you think might be interested as well.

So the summary…

When

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009. Somewhere in the 9-5 (ish) range. You don’t need to come for the whole day but you might just want to.

Where?

925 2nd Ave West in Owen Sound (right across the street from the police station). A couple of parking spots can be arranged. Otherwise there is parking on 1st Ave West.

The idea was born (Ok , I found it online….) out of a wish/want/need for a little more human connection in my workday, or at least one workday a month. Jellly then serves as a sort of “company watercooler” for those of us that don’t have the corporate/office culture in our day to day.

If you can make it out it would be great to see you. Be sure to pass the link/details on to anyone you think might be interested as well.
